We are currently seeking a PC/Help Desk Analyst for an opportunity with a growing and progressive Civil Engineering firm in our Columbus, Dayton, or Akron OH office. This position offers a very competitive compensation package and is a regular full-time position! The responsibilities for this job include providing maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a PC/local area network support environment, or associates degree in Information Systems Technology. A Microsoft or CompTIA certification is beneficial but not required. In addition, this candidate will possess a strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers and peripheral hardware devices. They will have software knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, MS-DOS, communications software, virus protection, and diagnostic software. Work will be a mix of in office support, helpdesk response and occasional travel to other office locations.
