We are currently seeking a Project Biologist to join our team for client accounts in our Bridgeville, PA, office. This is a regular full-time position and an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in biology, geology, wetland ecology, or environmental science, and 3-6 years of related experience.
The Project Biologist will work on exciting, complex, and challenging projects. This position will oversee and manage detailed phases of the environmental work in support of major projects or small –moderate scope projects, and requires the ability to guide and direct project team members. This position requires the ability to generate and/or oversee the generation of well-written, technically sound reports requiring little report core modification (structure, general content) by project team members. This individual may be asked to assist with a variety of other responsibilities, as needed, both in the office and out in the field.
The successful candidate will be proficient in ArcMap and GPS Pathfinder Office. A familiarity with or desire to learn pipeline industry standards, terminology, and procedures is required. The candidate should also possess strong organizational and management skills, Microsoft Office computer skills, and the ability to lead, develop, and work as part of a project team. Excellent personal skills are also required including professionalism, strong work ethic, verbal and written communication, listening and problem solving, and a proactive approach. Candidate must be flexible with work schedule, willing to travel, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
